For more than half a century, Elanco has been dedicated to innovation in the food animal production field through our agricultural division, Elanco. Now, with our Lilly Companion Animal Health Division, we’ve broadened our scope to include pet medicines to help companion animals lead longer, healthier, happier lives.

None of these innovations would be possible without our strong research and development capabilities. In laboratories throughout the world, we develop feed additives, livestock production enhancers, medicines to prevent and treat disease, and pet medicines that positively affect animal health in many ways.

Through our history, we have developed more than 35 agricultural and animal health products. All of our products meet stringent government regulatory and food safety requirements, while providing a positive economic return for livestock production, or enhancing the lives of companion animals through pet medicine innovations.

Partnerships

In addition to Elanco’s laboratories, we form strategic collaborations with companies around the globe to develop, refine and deliver animal health products. We’re always on the lookout for innovative molecules and technologies that can be developed into successful products. We are particularly interested in partnering with companies working on agents that control infectious diseases or enhance food animal production (cattle, swine and poultry), as well as pet medicines and other therapeutic agents for managing acute and chronic diseases in companion animals (primarily dogs and cats). We’re also interested in partnering with companies that are developing technologies to control the internal and external parasites that adversely affect both livestock and companion animals.
